Wow -- Day 1 of the NGS Family History Conference was something ...

Unfortunately, we can’t all be at the NGS Family History Conference which is happening now in Las Vegas!  You can keep current about what is happening via the NGS 2013 Family History Conference Blog or via the NGS Facebook page.

For those of us who couldn’t attend, here is a recap of some of what happened Day 1 as provided by Julie Miller CG.

The day started with Opening Session.
The hall was packed! Everyone was so excited to get the conference started.

NGS President Jordan Jones welcomed  attendees.

Marian Smith talked about her Mortan Allan research.

Mariachi Los Bravos led attendees to the Exhibit Hall. The kids were only in junior high and so talented.

Mastering Genealogical Proof by Thomas Jones and NGS Research in the States: New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County by Laura Murphy DeGrazia were hot items at the NGS Booth today.

Sessions started at 11:00 a.m.

So much packed into the first day. Looking forward to doing it again tomorrow.
