Saving Your Facebook Data

In a departure from when we usually post, we are posting this on a Sunday figuring that much of “our” Facebook (FB) activity probably takes place on the weekend!  When we aren’t so busy, weekends can be a nice time to catch up on FB.

Since we as genealogists now make connections through FB, post information, data and images (or view such posted by others), have you thought about how to “save” this invaluable information?

If not, the State Library of NC is ready to help you out.  A video has been posted to the “Inform U” series.  The video was created for a general audience and it walks you through how and why you should save your Facebook profile, posts, photos and videos.

Are there any additional tips you have to offer to Upfront with NGS readers?
