A Thanksgiving message from Ann Christnacht Hilke, CG, President of the National Genealogical Society

Seminole Indian Thanksgiving Meal -- State Library and Archives of Florida

Hello all,

On behalf of the NGS Board and Staff I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving. What a great time of year for genealogists. We come together with our families to share a meal and memories. Thanksgiving is the perfect time to talk with the older generation about life when they were young and to share stories about their parents and grandparents. For those of us who are the older generation, take the opportunity to share with family members your memories of your life through the ‘30s, ‘40s, '50s and '60s.
Warm wishes,

Ann
