Celebrate National Library Week -- FREE Access to Gale Resources -- 10-24 April 2011

Also mentioned is … AccessMyLibrary.  This is a mobile application for several smartphones which makes access to library research just a click away on a mobile phone. A major portal from the Web to libraries, AML allows online searchers to find what they need by connecting them to their local library quickly and conveniently.

  1. the only way to access the free items is to click through via their widget. We have one on our NCGenWeb blog post about the promotion at http://www.ncgenweb.us/gale-national-library-week

  2. Hi Taneya ... actually you don't have to use their widget. You can directly go to any resource, such as the newspaper access, browse or search and see the results -- I just did that before typing that message.

    I think they want to promote their widget and so are encouraging that one access that. Though, always happy to give a call-out to the NCGenWeb project!
