Without archives, most genealogists and family historians would be hard-pressed to learn the stories of their ancestors!
Let’s join in the celebration of American Archives Month! It’s happening across the country right now! Find out what’s happening where you live!
Additionally, the Society of American Archivists (SAA) is continuing it’s “I Found It In The Archives!” contest!
One of my favorite elements of this particular celebration, other than its focus on archives, are the really neat posters created! I’ve displayed a few of the ones I cam across! Do you know of others, please share and I’ll post a follow-up!
And, if you participated in an event celebrating Archives Month, please let us know!

When I visited the NC archives last week, on both sides of the entryway doors they had posters from all across the country about celebrating "American Archives Month" -- it was fun to see some of the ones pictured above as well as a bunch of others!ReplyDelete
