Kickstarter -- Need a genealogy project funded? This might be the way to go!

Have you heard of Kickstarter?  It’s a way to fund a project.  Learn about how you can fund a project using Kickstarter.

Recently, I learned that Maureen Taylor is trying to raise funds for "Revolutionary Voices": A Last Muster Film.  Judy Russell (the Legal Genealogist) has posted about this project.

Yesterday I learned that FGS is doing a program this Saturday about using Kickstarter.

FGS Radio: Kickstarter Funding Your Genealogy Society Project
Saturday, March 9, 2013
2-3pm Eastern US

Of course, I then had to search on Kickstarter and see if there are other genealogy projects listed!
I found Ex-slave Marriage Book – Genealogy (Saline County, MO).

Are there other genealogy or family history related Kickstarter projects you are aware of?

Is there a project your or your local genealogy society might like to undertake?  Might you consider the Kickstarter platform?

Do you know of a project successfully completed using funds via Kickstarter?
