Nationwide NARA Genealogy Workshops

It is sometimes easy to overlook wonderful “learning” opportunities in our own backyards.  Since I split my time between Raleigh and DC, I receive lots of e-mail about “events” in both locations.  Recently I was reminded that NARA offers lots of FREE programs and just not in DC!

Topics include an introduction to genealogy and research into records such as census schedules, military service and pension records, and passenger lists. This webpage summarizes NARA’s Nationwide Genealogy Workshops.
