Celebrate National Library Week -- FREE Access to Gale Resources -- 10-24 April 2011

Thanks to a Facebook buddy we learned that Gale is Celebrating National Library Week from 10-24 April by giving you free access to select Gale resources.

Also mentioned is … AccessMyLibrary.  This is a mobile application for several smartphones which makes access to library research just a click away on a mobile phone. A major portal from the Web to libraries, AML allows online searchers to find what they need by connecting them to their local library quickly and conveniently.

  2. Hi Taneya ... actually you don't have to use their widget. You can directly go to any resource, such as the newspaper access, browse or search and see the results -- I just did that before typing that message.

    I think they want to promote their widget and so are encouraging that one access that. Though, always happy to give a call-out to the NCGenWeb project!

  3. oh wow! i wish i would have realized that. i had some trouble getting the widget configured right in Wordpress - could have saved me some time :-) thanks Diane!
